Get ready to hit the beach and the mats with the Virginia Beach Summer Championship! Taking place on July 15th at the Virginia Beach Field House, this tournament offers jiu jitsu athletes of all levels and ages the chance to compete in both gi and nogi divisions.
But it's not just about the competition - Virginia Beach itself is a destination worth traveling to. Known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and endless outdoor activities, Virginia Beach has something for everyone. And when you're not soaking up the sun, you can hit the mats and test your skills against some of the best jiu jitsu competitors in the region. With custom medals awarded to the top three athletes in each division, every competitor has the chance to be recognized for their hard work and dedication.
But for those who truly stand out, first place winners of any advanced division will receive the prized NJJF Championship Belt, a symbol of their skill and excellence in the sport.
And if you're up for a challenge, don't miss the opportunity to compete in the nogi absolute division, where the very best will battle it out for ultimate glory.
But it's not just individual success that's on the line - team points are calculated to determine the top three teams in the youth and adult categories, as well as the overall team champion. All seven teams will receive an award banner to hang in their academy, while the first place winning teams will receive a custom trophy to proudly display.
